Victory!!!!!!

Not in our house. Even against a surprising Troy team who last week upset #17 Missouri and the week before beat Marshall, the Aggies remained true to their at home form in a 22-18 win.

The Aggies played solid on both offense and defense, something they had not been able to do in their previous two losses. NMSU led most of the game, but the Trojans scored 11 consecutive fourth quarter points to go up 18-15. It appeared that the Aggies were headed towards another fourth quarter let down, but they put together an 80 yard drive capped off with a seven yard touchdown pass from Buck Pierce to Travis Samuel with 2:05 left in the fourth quarter. That proved to be the difference in the game, as the Aggie defense forced a Troy fumble three plays later. Former Mayfield standout Jeremy Lawson looked impressive, catching three passes for 58 yards and one touchdown. The win brings the Aggies to 1-2 on the year and 1-0 in Sun Belt conference play.

The Aggies take on UNM next week at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

In other action, BYU lost to #1 USC 42-10. Things looked good for BYU early, as the Trojans were held scoreless through the first quarter for the first time in three years. BYU even scored first on a Matt Payne field goal that put the Cougars up 3-0. That was the last time BYU would lead, as USC took control of the game.

The Cougars take on Boise State next week, who beat UTEP 47-31. BYU lost to Boise State last year 50-12.

hey man, I just wanted to tell you that I love your quote. The one about being together in the end. Who is it by?

The quote is from a song called "Empty Apartment" by Yellowcard. Originally, the last line of the quote goes "and you'll look me in my eyes and call me your friend", but I didn't like that so I changed it.
